Anniversary BBW clothes closet swap

i was thinking it might be really fun & useful to have a big clothes swap the anniversary weekend. we could all spend the next few months cleaning out our closets of gently used clothing and then we could swap them! i know i have a tote almost full of stuff i no longer wear, plus a brand new winter coat, that i would love to get rid of or swap for something different.

i would make the following suggestions:

1- everything be freshly laundered & mostly wrinkle free
2- every item have a tag with your name on it pinned to the inner tag so things dont get lost
3- we could all bring our stuff and meet up in one of the rooms(so people could try things on in the bathroom)

what do ya think? anyone interested?

I have been encouraging a SWISH (thats what its called) forever!! If I book a room i will do it in mine....depends on kids but i think i will be able to hire someone to sit wth them for the weekend....

awesome becki! a swish eh? cool! i would also bring some $$ in case i dont have anything to trade. and it might be good to post the sizes of your stuff to trade. hey what about trading jewelry? scarves & accessories too! handbag exchange, that could be awesome!

i have a lot of tops that are size 30/32, some 26/28. i have a lot of bras that are 46D. and some lingerie in 3x-4x.

im so excited this could be sooooooo fun! i think i might even post some pics of the more expensive items.

I think this is a great idea. I wouldn't mind seeing a Swish for books some time soon. I'm a book worm at times and have lots of books I buy new and read only once.I have both hard cover and paper backs from Authors like Dean Koontz, Steven King, Marry Higgins Clark, Danielle Steel.

i book swish would be great but i think you guys will have to plan that. comin gfrom 4 hrs away i dont think ill be carting too many books( im an over packer as it is!!!) but i wish i was out there to participate! im a book lover too!
