My Mood: | Hi, what's your favorite book?Right now, I like the Xanth books. They are a set of silly fantasy books that mask the serious subject of romance. And the author's happy forever-after view that once married: people should stay married forever. ~ Guy Galaxy |

| Ms Massage Goddess | Not sure if it is my "favorite" But a book that I enjoyed very much and one that I would recommend to anyone especially the woman on this site is... "Good in Bed" by Jennifer Weiner the main character is a plus size woman, so it was awsome to be able to totally relate to her. |

My Mood: | I love so many authors...but Jennifer Weiner would be one of my favorites. And I love anything by Ken Follett. Never thought I would like spy novels but they're great! And his "The Pillars of the Earth" and "World without End" are awesome! Carl Hiassen's work is fun to read. Oh, and Harlan Coben. See, I can't stop! |

My Mood: | Interesting, I will have to look for the Jennifer Weiner's book. I read the first part of Jen Lancaster's third comedy autobiography book: it was funny. But the title is long and part of the title is dirty: so I cannot type it out here. And I like the covers of Ian Fleming's novels; but of course, it would be better if the cover art included a big beautiful lady. I was working on reading Dr. No and Moonraker (both good books). But other than James Bond, the books are way different than the movies. Have fun reading all. ![]() ~ Guy Galaxy |

| Yeeesh, did i really read dostoevsky listed in this thread? i worked my way through crime & punishment and the brothers karamazov as a philo major and that stuff was just painful. did you read it in it's native russian? maybe enjoyable that way? "sex, drugs, and cocoa puffs" (klostermann) or "media virus" (rushkoff) for pop cultural stuff. "hardcore zen" (warner) cultural studies "get in the van" (henry rollins) is probably my favorite auto-bio "red rabbit" (clancy) is by far my fav espionage techno-thriller. "lullaby" (palahniuk) odd-ball mystery, trash novel "catcher in the rye" (salinger) probably the one piece of literature i've reread more times than any other. i guess that list is about as close to come as a fav book as i can get. |
