I am an avid gamer I play mostly everquest on my pc and was wondering if anyone else still play. he population seems to have dwindled over the last couple years.

First Date Nightmares

I think it would be fun to share some of our First Date Nightmares! I'll bet we've all had more than one!

The worst first date I ever had was a blind date set up by my aunt. I called the woman and invited her to dinner at a local steakhouse, and she accepted. A few days later we met, and as soon as we sat down she announced that she was a vegatarian, but there must be something she could eat. She was horrible to the waitress, sent her meal (Chicken...) back twice, complained that the warm bread wasn't warm enough, and that the butter wasn't soft enough... At the end of the meal I asked her if she wanted desert - She said no, but that I could have some....

THEN we went to the movies. (50 First Dates!) The gentlemen behind the counter stated that we looked nice together, and she proceeded to yell, quite loudly, that she wasn't gonna settle down with no man.

We made it through the movie, but as you can guess - I never called her back!

How about all of you out there... Do you have any nightmares you can share?

Ok so i have an interesting question for the group.....

If someone joins AMPLE or facebook or whatever.....and he/she has just gotten out of jail, prison, a mental instiute, rehab, etc....

do they have an obligation to tell people???

Especially prison, or a mental institution??

So I am strumming along on my guitar and then I pop a nail. Well that hurt like a S.O.B but I shake it off , keep playing and all is well. Later that night I am in the shower and a strand of my hair gets caught beneath the nail and It comes off. Two nails down in the course of a day.
The next morning as I am unplugging the alarm clock and preparing to throw it out the window guess what?!?! I lose another nail.
Now it is 3 nails down and I just had a fill about a week and 3 days ago. WTF!!!.

At that point I was pretty sick of my nails. They kept breaking and I had the same set on for about 5 months so I figured its time to give my natural nails a rest. I headed over to Walgreens and I picked myself up nail clippers and a metal nail file. I arrive at my office and I start doing a wonderful hack-job on my nails. I am clipping them, filling them and ripping those suckas off my nails beds. After 4 hours and totally mangling my nails.. Success. They are off and I am sooo happy. Yes! Now I can play guitar, go bowling and go in hot tubs without the worry of what it could do to my fill.
and then.. I spot a woman with the prettiest design. It was the word love with purple and silver butterflies. Thats when I knew.. In 2 weeks when my bloody and bruised nails where back to normal.. I WOULD BE PUTTING THE ACRYLICS BACK ON...

Oh Why Do I do this to myself? Why do I play the bipolar love game with my nails? I want them.... then I dont want them.. then I want them again.. Sigh. The wonders of being a woman.

Ps.. I know there is stuff out there to help remove the nails easier BUT acetone burns my skin so badly that it is painful. It is less painful to remove them myself then to be exposed to that toxic chemical.

i play the lottery a little. not a lot. just $5 here & there. when i buy my occasional tickets i allow myself to dream a little about what i would do if i won. so i was curious to hear what you all thought about doing if you hit it big...

i always always say to myself..if i win the BIG jackpot ill pay off all my friends and relatives mortages and buy houses for my friends who rent, oh and a nice house for myself...but then i can never decide where id like to live! LOL
