| the only reason I saw it was to spend time with a friend. but it held my attention alright. decent action and effects, fire, explosions, coupled by people running and screaming always works for me. but I can say a lot more could have hit the editing room floor. There's no reason that film lasted longer than 100 minutes, but somehow it reached 2.5 hours, I'm just lucky I had so much espresso in my frap' but all in all, I had a good time just being with my friend. did anybody else see it? |

| i saw it sort of knowing it wasnt gonna be oscar winning material except for the special effects. i enjoyed it because i too enjoy those big destruction scenes. i really like john cusack too and if he wasnt in it it would have REALLY stunk! i agree it was surprisingly long. i kept thinking...arent they out of danger yet?! but its the kind of action film that has effects that are better seen on the big screen so i was glad i saw it for that reason, other than that...theres no reaso to see it...the storyline is totally forgettable. |
